Janet Connect is a Windows software application your developers and analysts use to access, query, and explore your agency’s Janet Cloud data directly. It was built to make secure data access as simple as opening an app.

When a team member launches Janet Connect, their credentials are loaded automatically and a secure, encrypted connection is established behind the scenes. There are no extra steps, no manual configuration, and no risk of credentials being mishandled. The security is built in, not bolted on.

Once connected, your team works with clean, standardized, analytics-ready data that Mission Driven Data models and maintains on your behalf. Instead of wrestling with raw, complex system tables, they hit the ground running with a foundation that already makes sense. Query and explore in your preferred SQL environment, shape and transform data using Power Query, or build and publish dashboards in Power BI.
